The Search and Rescue have been meeting on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month since then. At these meetings they conduct training on the Utah State Search and Rescue standards. These standards include: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Search Operations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Orientation and Navigation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tracking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rope Operations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Air Operations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>First Aid and CPR<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Crime Scene Awareness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NMS Compliance and many more trainings related to Search and Rescue Operations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tooele County Sheriff&#8217;s Search and Rescue is activated upon the \nSheriff&#8217;s or his designee&#8217;s orders for lost or missing persons, downed \naircraft, water recovery operations, public presentations and crime \nscenes where special equipment is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Members must be physically fit, pass a basic health screening and a background investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are interested in joining this elite group, please contact Lt.
